Niftyfiftyshades sole purpose is to make you feel better about yourself as you read endless tales of failure on the domestic front. This doesn’t prevent Nifty dispensing tips and advice on matters of etiquette and behaviour in polite society.

  1. Thank you so much for stopping by and following my blog.Really appreciate that.

  2. Thank you so much for the follow. Love the tea post! Now, about your About page… we visitors need to be able to say ‘Hi’ to a real person *tips hat*. Now I hope this doesn’t seem presumptuous – we’ve only just met but Hugh Roberts has done a rather good post wit suggestions about the About Me page here https://jemsbooks.wordpress.com/2016/01/11/guest-post-by-blogger-hugh-roberts-how-to-become-a-successful-blogger/ Please ignore me if you think this intrusive!

    • Thanks a mil for your feedback. I’m new to this so still finding my feet. Do most bloggers have a Facebook page also. Thanks, Susan.

      • I think the FB and Twitter follow but mostly it’s those bloggers who also write and are seeking to widen the audience for their work. That said if you add the social media buttons and link them to your accounts you can automatically copy your posts to those other platforms and will generate traffic that way. I link mine to FB, Twitter LinkedIn and Google +. Friends Also do Pinterest, stumledon and Reddit. FB gains me a fair number of views.

    • Thanks, Geoff, for the tips. I am updating my about page, and putting a gravitar in my sidebar today! I, too, am quite new to this and appreciated your tips and link for Nifty!

And Nifty, I came to your about page, because I think your blog looks awesome – certainly not new at all! You are rockin’ it, sister! So much so that I hope you don’t mind that I reblogged you this morning. Your post made me chuckle, and I sooooo relate to the glasses thing!

So I find considerable fun, humor and insight in the words and pictures you post but I don’t find much “failure”. Keep up the great work and thank you for stopping by hisnamebpraised and following the site. Blessings to you whether pretending to be or really in summer or not. Thanks again. Doug
